NaruHina: Blush- chap 13

Naruto and Hinata slowly starts to walk towards the table hand in hand. They can see the girls, staring at them with big smirks across their faces.

Hinata: N-Naruto-kun m-maybe we s-should stand a bit c-closer to each other a-as we walk…

Naruto: Y-yeah you're right. We do look kind of stiff and such. W-we need to make this look real if we want to win.

Hinata nods and Naruto puts his arm around her shoulder and drags her into him. Her body is touching his torso and her head starts to spin slightly.
She puts her arm around his hip.
They walk awkwardly towards the table where the others sit.

Naruto: Hey guys!

Naruto grins and blushes slightly.
Kiba quickly stands up and walks over to Hinata and Naruto who tenses up.

Kiba: ….Fake.

Naruto and Hinata looks nervously at each other and then back at Kiba.

Sakura: What!? What makes you think that!?

Kiba watches Sakura intensely and then looks Naruto deep in his eyes.

Kiba: …Because….Hinata is in love with me!

Everyone gets quiet. Naruto can feel disappointment overwhelming him.
Ino comes back from the rest room, walking towards them with a huge smile across her face.

Ino: See Kiba! I told you they're toge-

Hinata cant hold it any longer. She's bubbling with anger on the inside. Here, Kiba stands, saying that she's in love with him when the only person she loves is Naruto.

Hinata: WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE SAYING, KIBA-KUN!?

Kiba: Don't try to deny it Hinata! I know that you've always loved me! I know you inside out! I know that you would never even TRY to love Nar-

Hinata: NO. I thought that you knew me but apparently, you're the most idiotic friend I could ever have!
Because… I…..I LOVE NARUTO- KUN!!

Silence…

Hinata stands, looking deep into Kiba's eyes with anger.

Kiba: …… If…..If you're so in looooove with him, then why don't you prove it-

And before they know it, she quickly turns around, embracing Naruto with her arms around his back and presses her lips onto Naruto's. Naruto returns the kiss, enjoying every second of it. He also, puts his arms around hinata and slowly sits down at the closest table.
They hear someone coughing and they break the kiss.
They all stand, looking at them with amazement. Everyone is completely stunned from what happened.

Aru: Well we told you guys that they were together but you just didn't believe it… I guess we won the bet…

Kiba: Well… I still don't believe it!! I mean anyone can kiss someone just for money!

Neji: Hinata-sama…I would like to have a talk with you later….

Naruto and Hinata breathes heavily, trying to catch their breaths.

Ino: Oh come on! How is that so unbelievable?

Shino: Their body language isn't very hard to read actually. They're not comfortable with each other, especially not Hinata-sama. And also, they do not look lovingly into each others eyes. They just make some awkward eye contact.

Neji: True story..

Naruto and Hinata glances over at each other and feels that their blood are pressing up to their cheeks, making a red colour on their faces.

They all sit down around the table to order some evening food. The darkness has come to end the day for today. They are all enjoying themselves, laughing and having fun. Although the only ones that are quiet are Hinata and Naruto. Hinata is sitting in Naruto's lap since they have to prove that they are together. Bad idea really. They both feel very uncomfortable.

Naruto: Uhm Im going to go out and take some fresh air…

He carefully grabs Hinata's hip and stands up. They all watch the couple intensely.

Naruto: U-uhm…uh.. S-see you around..h-honey. I'll be right back heh..hehhe

He glances over at the others and then leans closer to Hinata and places a light kiss on her lips. He quickly turns around and rushes out of the small café door.

Hinata sits down again, blushing furiously and feeling very dizzy. A deep smile cracks up on her lips and she cuddles up in the chair where Naruto sat with her recently.

Kiba: So anyways Tsunade-sama also said that we were going to help you trough this mission. Which means that we'll be with you all the time. Such a drag really! I just want to go home!

Sakura: Oh well that's pretty nice. Although…we don't have any more space in our tent. That might be a problem..

Neji: No its okay really. We have a three man tent with us.
Sakura: Oh okay.

Ino: But uhm since its already dark outside…shouldn't we start packing everything up? And where are we going to place the tents?

Aru: Well I saw a nice spot behind this café! And then also, we can eat our breakfast here!

Ino: Well that sounds pretty nice!

Naruto walks in through the small door again and slowly walks towards the table. He comes up to Hinata and then glances over at an empty chair beside him. He hesitates but then Hinata stands up so that he can sit down in the chair that they both sat in before. They both starts to blush again. Naruto sits down on the warm chair and then grabs Hinata's hip again and pulls her in onto his lap. He puts his arms around her belly and Hinata grabs them and brings them even closer into her.
………..

Hinata wakes up and takes a look around. She's still in the café at the same spot. But where did the others go? The chair is really comfortable though. She turns around and finds Naruto. He's also sleeping. His head is hanging a little bit askew with a tiny breathing hole through his mouth. His arms are still embracing her in a "hug".

Hinata: I guess we both fell asleep…

She smiles and then leans in on his chest again, cuddles up and closes her eyes.
…..

After a while she hears some voices around them.

Aru: awww they look so cute together!

Ino: don't you think we should wake them up? Its getting quite late.

Miriu: No let them sleep just a bit longer!

Sakura: No but they wont get as much rest as they should if they sleep in a chair.

Hinata slowly opens her eyes.

Sakura: Oh hey Im glad you're awake! We need to go and get some rest okay..

Hinata slowly nods.

Ino: Its okay! We've already set out the tents and everything is ready and set. All you need to do now is to go to bed.

Hinata: O-oh thank you guys! But uhm how long was I out?

Aru: Well after you two fell asleep, we decided to go and set everything up. We didn't want to wake you up because you looked so cute together. So you have been sleeping for almost two hours.

Hinata: Oh s-sorry!

Sakura: No there's nothing to apologize for! Just hurry up so we can go to bed.

Hinata: Right!

Hinata stands up and then turns around to see Naruto still sleeping like a log.

Ino: Geez will someone wake him up? Its unbelievable that he hasn't woken up yet…

Sakura shakes Naruto lightly but after a while she starts to get more violent.

Sakura: God damn wake up already!!

Sakura slaps him across the face but he's still sleeping like a log.

Kiba: This is never going to work! Why don't we just carry him to bed instead!?

Ino: Well that's a nice idea Kiba! Why don't you and Neji carry him into our tent? You are gentlemen after all, aren't you?

Kiba mumbles something about -never needed to say such a stupid thing- and grabs Naruto's legs.
Neji walks behind the chair and grabs him under his armpits, trying not to argue.

Neji: 1..2…3!

They lift him up and starts to walk outside towards the tent.

Kiba: So which bed is his?

Aru points out the one at the left of the tent.

Kiba: Hey wait a second…There's only four sleeping bags…

Sakura: Yeh. So?

Neji: That means that someone is sharing sleeping bag with another.

Aru: Yeah Naruto and Hinata are sharing one.

Neji: WHAT!?

Neji drops Naruto who falls to the ground. He wakes up and pops his eyes open.

Naruto: OUCH!! What the he-!?
Neji: NARUTO!? Can you tell me why you and Hinata-sama shares the same sleeping bag!?

Naruto: U-uhm well…I-I-I-I-

Sakura: Because Tsunade- sama made a mistake! …With the tent and all…


Kiba: Uh-huh…really?

Hinata: Y-Yes Kiba-kun! Its true!

Naruto scratches his head in confusion and looks around.

Naruto: So what are you guys doing here? Shouldn't you two sleep in the other tent with Shino?

Kiba: Yes well we had to drag you here since you and your lovely "girlfriend" fell asleep on the chair. You slept like a log so this was the only option…

Naruto: H-heh did we fall asleep?...I see

Naruto blushes and glances over at Hinata who stands slightly behind Ino.

Shino comes into the tent aswell.

Shino: Neji, Kiba…its time to go to sleep. We need our rest.

They nod and then leave the girls tent.
Awkward silence fills up the tent.

Aru: You guys looked so cute while you two were sleeping!! Great acting by the way!

Sakura: Yeah I mean it looked so real and all...! Especially Hinata's little speech. Good job!

Hinata: …yes…great acting.

She mumbles for herself while watching Naruto's depressed face.

Naruto: heh..yeah great improvising, Hinata!

His voice sounds happy and light but his face expression is still very sad and depressing. Naruto sighs and lay down on his back, watching the dark-green ceiling.
