NaruHina: Blush- chapter 10

They sit down and have their meal. Everyone is eating except Naruto who's staring into the filled bowl.

Sakura: Naruto…aren't you going to eat? Its ramen…you know ichiraku ramen!

Naruto stares into the bowl once again and then looks at Sakura.

Naruto: I…I cant eat this.

The girls stare weirdly at him as he pushes away the bowl.

Ino: Ehm Naruto...why is it not...eatable?

Naruto: The meatloaf sucked all the soup up!!

Naruto starts laughing hysterical and falls over on his back. He starts to pant and tries to get some air. He dries away some tears from his eye and sits up on the log again.

Naruto: No but seriously…why DO you have meatloafes here? They can be very dangerous..

Ino: ….I don't get it. What meatloaf?
………….

Naruto sits quiet for a while until a tear runs down from his cheek. And then another one.
Miriu: Naruto...are you alright?

Aru: I REALLY need to go to the bathroom! I'll go quick! Tell me if I miss something!

Aru runs along a short bit into the forest and finds a nice bush.

Naruto starts to cry even more. He puts up his arm to dry them away but it's helpless because they just keep on coming.

Sakura: M-maybe this was a bad idea…

Naruto: Everybody hated me. I was always alone and no one cared even the slightest bit about me. Everyone thought I was a gross monster and I had no idea why. I was always the last one picked for everything. It was so hard to get any friends! To get anything at all! *sniff* I tried to get anyone's attention but they just grew more and more weird. And I can still remember all of their faces! They were all the same. Like I had done something terribly wrong which I hadn't!? And then I met you guys, team 7. I felt so happy! I finally had some friends. And then I always had Iruka sensei and kakashi and Ero-senin. They were always nice to me!
Everyone starts to expect so much from me. But I can't even bring my best friend back!
And then I kissed Hinata again and I don't even know if she likes me! I want to ask her so badly about how she feels about me but then she would probably just think Im weird and say that im a douche bag! I- I…I think I love her! *sob sob*

Sakura and Ino in choir: WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?

Naruto turns towards Hinata.

Naruto: What do you think I should do?

Hinata starts to blush and Naruto realises that it is Hinata that he's asking. Did she just hear what Naruto said?

Naruto starts to blush and puts on a very goofy smile on his face.

Naruto: heeeheeeeheeeeee. You were right here the whole time? *hic*

Hinata looks at naruto and then slowly nods. She puts on a fully smile on her face and then throws herself around Naruto's neck and they embrace into a hug as they fall backwards and hits the ground.
They both laugh and turn around so that they lies on their backs. Naruto plays with Hinata's hair.
Aru, who just got back from a toilet visit, gets a biiiit confused.

Aru: What….just happened? Did I like…miss something important?? Wow you guys look like you've seen a ghost or something. Are you OK?

Miriu: Well Im pretty fine but I don't think that Ino and Sakura took the confession very well..

Aru: What confession?

Miriu: Naah nothing special. Just that Naruto said something about "I think I love you, Hinata" And that they kissed while we were out looking for them.

Aru: AW MAN I ALWAYS MISS OUT ALL OF THE GOOD PARTS!!! Damn you tiny bladder!

It gets quiet and everyone stares at Naruto and Hinata. Hinata is blushing like shit and Naruto seems lost in Hinata's eyes. He slowly puts his hands up to Hinata's face and buries them a bit in her hair. He leans closer and shuts his eyelids as he slowly opens his mouth a bit. Hinata stares helplessly at him. Its going to be hard to share the same sleeping bag with him today. She cannot hold back any longer and therefore leans in into a passionate kiss.
Aaaand always, a time breaker.

Aru: GET A TENT!!

Miriu suddenly finds that hysterically funny and starts to laugh from the bottom of her stomach.

Ino: Maybe you and Naruto shared the same medicine…

Suddenly Sakura bursts into laughter and so do Hinata as she breakes away from the sweet kiss. Hinata feels a huge relief as they all seem to be okay with what she and Naruto have.
As the laughter slowly dies away, Naruto asks a really uncomfortable question for Sakura.

Naruto: Sakura-chan…do you hate me for that time I hurt you on purpose? You know that day when new team 7 met Orochimaru and Kabuto and I went out of control and destroyed everything in my way…

Sakura: …Naruto.. I don't hate you at all. Sure you can be really irritating sometimes but honestly, I don't hate you! I don't blame you for what happened that day…

Naruto: Yeah…I just couldn't control my anger. I was so angry on Orochimaru for stealing my,..our best friend!
And well…

Sakura: Naruto im fine! Don't you worry! , Now lets hit the beds shall we? Im soooo tired.

Everyone agrees and tries not to think about what Naruto meant and what really happened that day.
They crawl into the tent, leaving Naruto and Hinata behind, who stands up just looking into each others eyes. Naruto goes closer and embraces her into a hug. It takes some time to return the hug but once she does, they feel like they're flying high up in the sky.

Hinata: Naruto-kun lets go to sleep.

Hinata stops in confusion. She doesn't stumble on her words like before and she hasn't fainted yet. And she's not red like a overgrown tomato either. Now she feels comfortable with Naruto. It feels like they've known each other forever.
Naruto nods as a answer to her question and grabs her hands and walks into the tent. He lets Hinata into the sleeping bag first and then Naruto follows. He wraps his strong arms around her and they fall asleep.

…..

Naruto wakes up and instantly feels his head pounding really hard. He rubs the back of his head and sits up.

Naruto: …What happened last night..?

He looks over at Hinata and then at Ino, Sakura, Aru and Miriu.

Naruto: uuh I hardly remember anything…Oh well, I guess they'll tell me.

He crawls out of the tent and sits on one of the logs around the campfire. He decides to sit there for a while.

Naruto: Uhhhwoooah my head is spinning like a roller coaster.

Sakura: Hey Naruto are you alright?

Naruto turns around and spots Sakura. And behind her stands all the other girls, looking at him in curiosity.

Ino: So Naruto…how much of the yesterday do you remember today?

Naruto: uhm…nothing..?

Aru does a face palm and Hinata's face expression gets a bit worried and she takes a step back. There's a uncomfortable feeling again. And also a feeling of regret. She remembers everything and he remembers nothing. Just great.

Naruto: Sooo you don't mind telling me what we…I did?

Miriu: Well of course not!

They sit down next to Naruto while Sakura serves them breakfast.
